2020 Moderator Election

Nomination phase closes in three days, and I have the impression that lack of candidates may lead to the election being cancelled. I wouldn't want that to happen so I nominate myself for moderator.

But don't vote for me, I am not moderator material. User 1muflon1 appears to be a very good choice to replace a very good moderator, so

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

...Let alone that there is nothing "improbable" here. In other words, we don't need Sherlock' wit to tell us who's going to do it, except if a white swan event happens in the next three days.

I'm writing to you to nominate myself for as a Moderator for economics.stackexchange.com. I understand that I am fairly new and stand no chance against 1Muflon1 .

I have enjoyed contributing on this forums by answering many questions and I am looking forward for another great year of answering questions : ) .

From microeconomics to productivity data. Lots of questions was answered, edited, and commented on. I was able to bring clarity and understanding to many. I have enjoyed my experience here on Econ Stackexchange.

I would like to nominate myself. Why I think I would be a good moderator:

1. I am passionate about the Economics SE community. I think that presently it is one of the best Q&A sites for economics and I would like to help it to stay that way and grow by serving as a moderator.

2. I frequent the site relatively often which will help to ensure high speed of moderation.

3. My idea of moderation is in line with the SE official theory of moderation. However, since our stack is small, with few high-rep users, often even obviously unfit questions take days to be finally closed. If I see 3-4 high rep users closing a question I won't shy away from casting my mod vote (although I will always err on the side of caution).

4. I am patient and willing to always explain rules and mod decisions to anyone and listen to the community suggestions and requests on meta.

5. On a practical note, from my casual observation of the activity of other moderators they seem to be living in completely different time zones (@KitsuneCavalry @EconJohn please correct me if wrong) than I do (my TZ is GMT+2). It is practical to have moderators from different TZs ensuring moderation around the clock.
