On Mar. 26 2020, Fed announces unlimited QE and sets up several new lending programs : finance. I know little on the U.S., as my B.A. economics degree is from a Ontario university. If I remember the IS-LM model, the Fed's Quantitative Easing so far can be pictured below. I reversed the arrow in the original diagram.
Isn't the Federal Reserve supposed to be rattled by inflation or increase in the Price Level, as per the right shift in AD'?
Let me know of other drawbacks. I haven't brought up lower interest rates because this doesn't appear a drawback. After all, the Federal Reserve aims for more investments and for people to spend money rather than deposit in securities that depend on high interest rates.
