About

I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 1991 and have taught at the University of Michigan, Nanjing University, and Korea University. I also worked for six months at the Joint Economic Committee of Congress in 2004. Most of my current academic research is in the field of computational macroeconomics. Other research interests include international finance, exchange rate behavior, economic growth and Asian economies. I have worked at BYU since 1992.
