CY Cergy Paris Université
My background is in pure mathematics, but my current main research interests are in theoretical economics, especially social choice theory, social welfare theory, decision theory, and game theory. I am also interested in certain questions in formal philosophy. Earlier in life, my main research focus was symbolic dynamics and ergodic theory (especially cellular automata). Here is a very brief bio:
- Ph.D in Mathematics from University of Toronto (2001).
- Professor of Mathematics at Trent University, Canada (2002-2014).
- Professor of Economics at CY Cergy Paris Université (formerly called the Université de Cergy-Pontoise), France (2014-present).
